Vanha nainen tanssii heads to Merikarvia, Turku and Pori this autumn

Produced in collaboration with Rakastajat Theatre, the dance-infused staged reading Vanha nainen tanssii tours western Finland this autumn.

Based on Eveliina Talvitie’s book of the same name, the performance explores ageing, womanhood and life experience with warmth, humour and honesty. The cast includes author and journalist Eveliina Talvitie, actors Jaana Pesonen and Angelika Meusel, and Kati Aalto of Pori Dance Company, who brings the stories to life through dance and movement.

Vanha nainen tanssii will be performed in Merikarvia on 21 August, at Manifesti Festival in Turku on 24 September, and in Pori on 8 October.
