The title of the piece refers to an altered state of consciousness (out‑of‑body experience). OBE explores the dynamic and interwoven relationships between mind and body, human and nature. In the mind, a person can travel back in time and imagine the future, yet the physical self exists in the present, where the marks of time become visible both in the body and in nature. Can we understand these shifting boundaries – and at what point do our actions leave an imprint on the environment from which there is no return?
