Anu Sistonen returned as choreographer for Pori Dance Company with a reworked version of the piece Mood(s), which originally premiered in Luxembourg in 2016.
Structured like a collection of short stories, the work delves into various states of mind and their transformations. It reflects not only on complex human relationships but also on the individual’s need to lean on the surrounding community. The choreography, rooted in refined movement, draws inspiration from the works of photographer Miikka Heinonen.
Pori Dance Company has previously performed Anu Sistonen’s works Meeting Point (2006) and Virtaa vastavirtaan (2009).
