Managing director/producer, artistic board member, choreographer-dancer
Mikko Lampinen began dancing at Liisa Nojonen Dance School and completed second degree dance studies in Tampere Conservatory. Along various competitions and complementary studies in United States, Netherlands and France he represented Finland with Riku Lehtopolku in the Eurovision Young Dancer final in Warsaw, Poland in 2005 while same year studying at Alvin Ailey School in New York with a scholarship. In Pori Dance Company he has danced sinced 2001 and in 2016 is the company’s managing director and co-artistic director together with Riku Lehtopolku. Along the career Lampinen has worked as a dancer in Carolyn Carlsson Company (2005), Helsinki City Theatre Dance Company (2006-2010), Skåne’s Dansteater (2010), Finnish National Ballet (2010), Tero Saarinen Company (2011 - ) and has been performing for example in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, Japan, North America, South-Korea, Sweden and Scotland. During the way Lampinen has performed in works by choreographers such as Tero Saarinen, Jorma Uotinen, Marjo Kuusela, Tommi Kitti, Carolyn Carlsson, Andonis Foniadakis, Kenneth Kvarnström, Josef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea. Choreographic work Lampinen has done since 2006 and created works for various companies in Russia, Finland and South-Korea. Along with dance and it’s various forms Lampinen works with visual design, video production and different multimedia installations. Among co-creators and collaborators have been companies such as Aaltokoski Company, Tero Saarinen Company and Zero Gravity Company.

Kati Aalto, one of the founding members of the company, started as a pupil of Maija-Leena Jurkowski in 1974 and continued her studies at Dance School Liisa Nojonen in 1979. In 1988 Kati left for London to further educate herself in dance at Pineapple and Works Studios, and later on at Dance Center of Columbia College in Chicago as well as at several intensive courses both in Finland and internationally. Kati received her degree at Tampere Conservatory in 2005.
Over the years at Pori Dance Company Kati has appeared in over 50 creations and toured with the company in United States, Scotland, France, Germany and South-Korea, among other countries. She has also worked at Lynda Martha Company in Chicago 1990-1991 and appeared in productions by Pori City Theatre. In addition, Kati works as a teacher at Dance School Liisa Nojonen. In 2003, she was awarded a half-year artist grant by National Council for Dance.
Dancer, artistic board member
Meri Tankka began her studies at Dance School Liisa Nojonen at the age of three together with her twin sister Riikka, and in 2005 she received her degree from Tampere Conservatory. Most notable teachers for Meri have been Pattie Obey, Mirja-Liisa Herhi, Saima Kranig, Eric Viudes, Frank Chaves, Liisa Nojonen and Maj-Lis Rajala, to name a few. Meri has continued her studies in ballet pedagogy at Theatre Academy in Helsinki as well as at several intensive courses in Finland and abroad. She's currently finishing her studies at Savonia University of Applied Sciences in dance pedagogy.
Meri started at Pori Dance Company in 1999 and has performed in almost every creation since. She has toured with the company for example in South-Korea, Germany, Sweden, France, Russia and Scotland. She has received several prizes in competitions, for instance at Concours Euro-Dance held in Paris in 2007 she was awarded as the best dancer of the competition. Meri also works as a teacher at Dance School Liisa Nojonen and in addition she has worked as an assistant to Liisa Nojonen since 2002.

Riikka Tankka started dancing already at the age of three at Dance School Liisa Nojonen, where she nowadays works as a teacher. Riikka received her degree from Tampere Conservatory in 2005, and has since further educated herself at several intensive courses as well as at Savonia University of Applied Sciences, where she is currently finishing her studies in dance pedagogy.
Riikka has worked at Pori Dance Company since 2009 appearing in almost every creation since she started. She has been on tour with the company in South-Korea, Germany, France, Estonia, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Scotland and Russia, among others. She has won several prizes in international competitions, for example first prize in Concours Euro- Dance in Paris in 2008 and also the first prize in St Petersburg in 2011. Riikka has been invited to Seoul to perform the solo Silence-Ecnelis at a gala performance in honour of choreographer Jung-Eun Kim, which will be held 1.12.2016.

Riku Lehtopolku started his studies in Dance School Liisa Nojonen. He has worked at Pori Dance Company as a dancer since 2001, and later on also as a choreographer and co-artistic director. He has performed in works by several renowned choreographers such as Jorma Uotinen, Tero Saarinen, Marjo Kuusela, Tommi Kitti and Jarkko Mandelin, as well as toured in Europe, Asia and Africa. As a guest dancer Lehtopolku has appeared in productions by Finnish National Ballet, Skånes Dansteater, Iceland Dance Company as well as Susanna Leinonen Company, Carl Knif Company and others. Since 2006 Lehtopolku has worked as an assistant to choreographer Jorma Uotinen as well as a repetitor for his works, staging his choreographies for instance for Royal Danish Ballet and Finnish National Ballet. Lehtopolku also works as a teacher and choreographer, and his works have been performed by Pori Dance Company, Oulu City Theatre and others. His latest works include ARK for Pori Dance Company and a solo Soulbird for Oulunsalo Soi! -festival, both premiered in 2015.
